"Then there are clubs like Moshi Moshi Bollywood at
Cuppage Centre, which are banking on unique
concepts to keep attracting the crowds.

Said Mr Singh: "We have quite a multi-cultural crowd
here. We created an ambience where our Indian
regulars can bring their Caucasian or Chinese
colleagues and still feel comfortable."

"Which is why we are moving into events management.
We are marketing the club as a place where you can
hold special events like birthday parties or company
functions," he said.

It seems to be paying off for the club which has now
hosted a long list of events from property launches to
wedding anniversaries.

The eight dancers at his club are also an attraction as
they perform nightly for the patrons in a Bollywood or
belly dance-themed mini-productions, naturally wearing
sexy costumes.

"As long as our regulars keep coming in, I think we will
do fine," he said."

"Moshi Moshi is one of my all time favorite Indian nightclubs.

I like it for several reasons; They play Bollywood and Bhangara numbers which I find myself increasingly nostalgic for the longer I stay away from Delhi. The Staff and management are very sociable (more so than most hospitality professionals) and mostly because they have a contingent of very inspiringly energetic dancers.

Most of the dancers here are part timers and almost all of them are not Indian. There is a very endearing quality to “foreigners” (if I may call them that in their own country) who can truly enjoy your culture and music.

The party I was at tonight happens to be their second anniversary and I wish them many more along with the promise of my continued patronage.

I can safely recommend the place to anyone out looking for a genuinely good time and clean fun."
